Gears that mesh

Feature overview

Planning phase

The planning, i.e. the recording of the TASKS, the creation and assignment of LABELS, etc., takes place in the so-called master plan. Once the initial planning has been completed and the plan is to be tested (e.g. in a dress rehearsal), an executable copy, the so-called live plan, must be created from the master plan. The master plan still exists and can be maintained.

Execution phase

In the execution phase, the master plan created and optimized in the planning phase is used either in a dress rehearsal or at the live cutover to control the planned execution of the TASKS.

For this purpose, a live plan must be created from a master plan.
